The Choice is Yours

When I started this journey, I didn’t really want to ‘sell’ anything. Like I said, I only signed up because of that leap of faith my friend took. I started using the night and day cream, loved it! Now all of a sudden I wanted to sell this product. It was amazing. I looked at mine and my husbands results. People would have to be crazy not to want these products! That was my first mistake. I wanted to tell everyone, everything! They call it Nerium vomit, my cup runneth over! I hope writing this helps someone new to this business. In hindsight I wish I had done somethings different. Starting off on the right foot, following the system, only to name a few. Parties, contacts, 3-ways, whatever your system is, follow it. I had been in retail sales for 20 years. I supervised a district of 7 stores, covering 4 states. Before that I just sold, starting as a part-time employee all the way to manager and then district manager. The difference between multi-level sales and retail sales is a boss. In retail you have a boss, you have sales quotas, payroll, theft control etc. Brick & mortar. Where as in multi-level, relationship marketing, or whatever you want to call it, you’re the boss and your company has done ALL the leg work and expense, advertising, products, training, etc. All you have to do is show up and be fabulous!
Some call it freedom, but you have to ‘want’ freedom. You have to be self motivated, self confident, not only in sales but in life. You have to to want it.
I love this industry. I love selling. I love being the best that I can be. Where are you in your career? Where do you see your freedom? Do you want a boss or be a boss? The choice is always yours.
