New York, New York

I haven't done a lot of travelling up until Nerium. I can't say it was because of money that we didn't go anywhere, it was more because we didn't think we needed too. Plus, the money that we did have seemed to always be marked for something else!
My first REAL trip was to see our daughter in New York. I flew up there in September of 2014, four months after starting. Thank you Nerium! Not only did I NEED this trip, but I NEEDED to see our daughter! The money that I was making with this company now afforded me the money to go without any regret!
We had an amazing time! The architecture is stunning, if you've never been, go! To think about the history of the buildings, what they've seen. The era in which they were built, the stories they could tell.

The one thing I can suggest, wear comfortable shoes! You walk and walk and walk! You walk everywhere. So, yes I got blisters my first day. My daughter was not happy! Oh well, I guess all you mothers out there know what I'm talking about, sometimes it doesn't take alot!
Coming from Georgia to New York there are things we take for granted. If you need milk, you jump in the car and go get a gallon, not in the city. First, there aren't any Walmarts, Publix or Kroger. There are Trader Joe's, but remember, you walk, you don't drive. Hauling groceries on your little trek is something you have to consider as well. Most of your day to day shopping is done at the bodega.
While there I visited Little Italy & Chinatown. We ate and ending up staying out WAY to late! Not as easy as it was almost 60 years ago, not the staying out, but the getting up the next day...

We went to the Chelsea Market and walked the High Line (a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail. It was created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan). Great food and great views.
I've added a couple of links in case you would like to check out these few areas online. The Chelsea Market
& the High Line.
We ate dinner one night in the harbour on a boat, fun! We visited Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village – the original home of NYU, Grand Central Station & Freeman's Alley.
Until next time New York!
